The show is set in Batlimore Maryland in 1962 and is about a Big Girl with Big Hair and EVEN BIGGER DREAMS!! It was great. Money well spent!!!

Brandie Bradshaw

Today I had the honor of shooting Brandie Bradshaw's Senior Photos. It was rather chilly outside, but Brandie was a fighter, I was the big baby. She wanted to have her pictures made at ASF, so we did just that. Today was Brandie's first time ever having pictures taken at ASF. It was also my first time shooting in several different places around ASF. I think the results turned out beautifully, and I can only hope she is thrilled with them as much as I was. Here are just a few photos from our shoot today!!

Wedding Day Aisle Runners

So most of you all know I like being creative, and I have found a new way to do so. Custom Aisle Runners. Back in October I planned a wedding for a couple in my church, It was each their second marriage, so we tried to think of small details that would mean alot. The aisle runner was one of them. I saw it done a while back on paper, and decided if people are gonna pay high dollar for paper Aisle Runers, why not put them on fabric. So I did just that. The results turned out better than expected and I am working with several Brides!! If you are interested or know any Bride that may be interested, send them my way. Prices depend on how long your aisle is and how detailed you want your font.

Rachel Brown

Rachel and I went out a couple weeks back, and decided that she could give my portfolio a more diverse look, well she thinks so, being part mexican. We ventured off downtown and found some pretty interesting spots, and some not so picture worthy. It was rather cold this day, but Rachel sucked it up and wore the shirt any way. After we felt we had seen enough of downtown, we went to no other than the infamous Alabama Shakespeare Festival. Most of you know, I hate ASF. Well, not really. I just personally think it is over rated. Everyone has the same pose infront of the same fence. So when clients tell me they want photos at ASF, I smile really big and try to think of the most creative way possible to get around the typical ASF look. I know, its horrible. But over all Rachel and I had a great day. A cold day. But her pictures turned out great and she was thrilled with the results.

Africa

It has always been a dream of mine to go to Africa and take pictures. I found out this week that I am going!! I am thrilled and cant wait!! I will be leaving in June and will be gone for a little over a week!! This is something that I have been wanting to do for a while now, and to finally get the chance is amazing. I will be leaving with about 30 others from my church, and while we are away we are going to be assisting with various projects while there. I can't wait!!!

It made me want to get married!! haha It was they day Jenifer had always dreamed of, and to be able to create memories for someone is an honor.

Bridal Madness

I recently had the privilege of attending the All About Weddings Bridal Show at the New Renaissance Hotel, Spa, and Convention Center, this past Sunday. My morning started at 8:45. I woke up and realized I had to be at the Hotel in 45 minutes. I jumped in the shower, threw on some clothes and headed downtown. I walked in to find a Ballroom to full of Flowers, Photographers, Bakers, Caterers, Wedding Planners, even Marriage Counseling. It was excited. Every girl dreams of Her big day, and what better way to make it all happen. One Stop Shop.

Since I have begun working with David Wiseman. I have gotten many opportunities, and had the privilege of meeting many people. To have Kim Box, an accomplished business women, and genius photographer tell you that you look artistic and creative, is crazy insane. Or to have Spring Bruner, tell me that I will make it far in life, and hopes to hear from me in the future. Its mind boggling. Meeting florist from Danas, Event Planners from Wynn Lakes, Caterers who I went to school with. WOW!!! What a day!!
Overall, it was an amazing experience. I had a blast, and I am honored that David would ask me to be a part of something like this. I can only hope that this is many more to come.
